~ Just Nice ~

Revamped and reloaded, Just Nice takes on this circle research  produced Heat Rock.  Delving into a wide variety of topics...... he elaborates upon the true meaning of chase the dream and not the money.  This is the first in a series of lyrical manifesto that are played out throughout the album.    Foregoing the traditional skits and entertaining interludes, Just provides what listeners have come to expect, (Nice Music).  Playing heavily on the sample I don't really love, Just metaphorically relates the relationship between chasing his dream and that of a woman.  He takes solace in the fact that both recognize he's coming.

JU$T NICE in this second (journalistic) entry, provides listeners with a plethora of thoughts to ponder... Touching on the era (of 90's rap) that most influenced him musically, he provides a foundation for further examination.  Obviously, those that have followed his career from its early days, are well aware of his ability to embody a wide range.  However, this one is strictly for the Hip Hop Heads!!!

Circle Research (the production team) provided both the Intro and Outro make another audio appearance on this piece.  Flipping an auspicious loop the guys keep the tempo slow and instrumentation to minimum.  Many have begun to make comparisons to Alchemist & Nasir... We'll see in time if we able to get a "Nice Research" Album!

Rodrick (or R. Burns) makes his production debut on this installment "Chase The Dream (III)".  To assure he's Keeping heads nodding, he utilizes a throw back sample from Mr. Burns (The Simpsons) to intro the track.  Then as many have come to expect from Just; he provides the perfect amount of lyrical dexterity and pure swag to colorfully illuminate the track. 

Tossing barb after barb... Nice is relentless in his approach! Take a second to hear it on your medium of choice below...

For the final interlude JUST hooks back up with Circle Research... He then, in an introspective fashion questions his own destiny and recognizes that in the bigger picture "the tables are rarely balanced".  However, success is truly in the hands of those bold enough to define it. 

Kicking his bars in a slower less methodical fashion, he allows the listeners to truly digest his smack.  And some good smack it is... From paying homage to his old state, to valuing his new state of mind Nice does it all on this one... Take a listen below

"Who's The Nicest"... We're assuming its rhetorical question. For those who have never seen or heard Nice body beats, this is an excellent point to start.  As has become tradition for everyone of his street tapes, he provides a lesson in lyricism... strictly for the purest.

With Kirk Olie handling the rings as producer Just effortlessly hurdles through a number of different beats, pasterns and rhyme schemes.  Buckle up and settle in for the ride! We hear shades of The Game, Canibus and Joe Budden.  Let us know what you hear...

Nance brings that vintage freestyle flow that helped the crew establish their following.  This is definitely one roll up to!  While lingo is far from what we've come to expect from Just... A Nash (a constant collaborator as of late)... blesses this Lexosyl/Dilom produced soul joint "Just Digital".  Originally, the track was  supposed to feature a couple other emcees.  However, after securing the proper vibe on the hook, Nice decided to keep it bouncing on the solo tip.  Be sure to stay tuned for remix COMING SOON!!!

Comparing our societies current digital addiction with that of a volatile relationship, Just draws upon multiple comparisons to explore the rational for not leaving.  Perhaps the imperfections or the minor eccentricities are large part of the drawl... Anyhow, take a listen to "Just Digital" here:

I hate when emcees say "I'm lyrical".  It seems like something that should be evident. 

~ Just Nice ~

JU$T NICE and Drm Spch come together to concoct one of the summers most creative and timely joints ever.  Bombarded by the beautiful weather on the west coast, Nice was inspired to create an ode to the most used but, seldom celebrated garment "SPANDEX".  From the petite princesses to the full figured beauties Spandex have become a staple and apparently Nice isn't too mad about it!

Assisting in this composition FuEGO V1 provides an upbeat playful vibe to this soul driven 90's throw back.  While doG Child fluctuating timber (reminiscent of Prince in his earlier days) assures that the track remains in pocket.  Both Darnell (previously heard on "You Never Know Who's Watching") and Nadia (a new addition to this growing collective) bring the track full circle with playful metaphors... This is definitely one for the tape deck, (excuse me)  MP3's.

"How It Goes Part 2" an obvious sequel to the certified hood banger, "How It Goes" (DeeBoi - Overtime Pay) was a last minute addition to the project.  The track features a handful of
premiere artists including SONNY BLACK (216), Lil EVil (916), Sam-Sin (209) and of course JU$T NICE.

Trading bars throughout this four minute opener, each emcee displays his lyrical dexterity... In it, we see everything from the rapid deliver in the beginning to the slowed down southern bounce at the end.  Take a second to listen to the track below & feel free to comment!

 JU$T NICE along with the entire cast (minus Darnell) from "Spandex" reunite once again for this Dj Sharehl produced banger "All For Nothing".  Testing out the rapid delivery Just throws a barrage of: tensely tied-up tongue twisters in an effort to explain the troubling outcome of a relationship with an x.  Not to be out done, Fuego,also throws himself in the mix... landing a couple solidified haymakers with bars like...
"I don't play with my girls triggers / I keep Password on my phone / For all these biting as N*##@

With Nice and Fuego handling the rhyming... doG Child (now going by Rayshod) and Nadia hold down the infectious Hook... The collective brings all necessary elements together to certify this song Niiiiiicccceee!!! Peep the record below:

TrapSutra aptly titled after the producer Trapzilla is another Just Nice & Fuego concoction.  The duo take turns playing with a variety of metaphors for trapping, all while ridding the dub step like beat.

Many have already started campaigning to get an entire project from these brothers; I guess only time will tell... Until then enjoy "TrapSutra" and let us know what you think below...

When JU$T NICE hooked back up with SUPER PRODUCERS LEXOSYL & Dilom... Few could've predicted this would be the outcome... Rather than taking the production to an even darker place,  Nice playfully pokes holes in his own machismo (something rarely done by hardcore emcees).  Reminiscing on his more innocent days he tells the story three different cases where as he states: his "mind was far ahead of where (his) maturity (was) at"...


Forgoing any features (or the obligatory vocalist) to smooth out the hook, he croons out this infectious tune on the solo tip!  Each sixteen getting even more enthralling, he first reflects from his earlier mind state on "NINA" the young lady that I'm sure every guy and probably (most of the girls) at his elementary school were in awe of.  Then on to a childhood's friends mother and culminating with his affection toward his high school English teacher.  Enjoy the track below...
